Your Product Has Ten Uses And Your Customers Know One

You sell something with more range than anybody realizes. The tool that does five jobs. The service that solves three problems. The product people buy for one reason and never find out about the other nine. You know all ten uses because you built it, or you have sold it for years, or you use it yourself every day.
Your customers know the one use they bought it for. That is the one you advertised, the one on the packaging, the one in the single post you made when it launched. They are happy with it. They are also using a tenth of what they paid for, and they have no idea.
That gap is not a product problem. It is a content problem. Every use you never showed is a customer who never found the reason to buy, and a current customer who never found the reason to buy again.
Each Use Is A Different Customer
The person who needs use number one is not the person who needs use number six. They search for different things. They scroll different feeds. They have different problems and would never think to look at your product for the thing they need, because everything you have ever said about it was about use number one.
That means nine potential audiences have never seen a reason to care. Not because the product does not serve them. Because you never told them.
Ten uses is ten different videos, each aimed at a different problem, each one landing in front of a different person. One product. Ten campaigns. You have been running one.

The One-Use Post Is Why Growth Stalled
Here is what happens with a single message. You post about use number one. The people who need it buy. You post about it again. The same people see it, and they already bought. You post about it a third time. Reach drops, because the platform has learned that nobody new is responding.
That is not the product failing. It is the message running out of audience. You reached everyone who cared about that one thing, and then you kept saying it.
The moment you post about use number two, the audience resets. Different people respond, the platform notices, and the product gets a second life without changing anything about it. Do that nine more times and the product that stalled becomes the product that keeps finding new people.
Ten Uses On Seven Platforms
Say you film each use as a thirty-second demonstration. Ten clips. Here is what that becomes.
Every clip goes to TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and Rumble. Fifty posts from ten short recordings, each one reaching a different set of people on each platform.
The ten clips stitched together become one long YouTube video: everything this product does. That video gets found by anyone searching for the product, and by anyone searching for any of the ten problems it solves. It sits there for years.
The most surprising use, the one nobody expects, goes to Reddit as a straightforward post in the community for that problem. Not a pitch. Just here is what this thing does that people do not know about. Reddit rewards that.
Ten uses. Seven platforms. Two months of daily content from a product you have been posting about once a quarter.
Your Customers Are Already Doing This For You
Look at your support inbox, your reviews, your comments. Somewhere in there a customer has told you they use the product for something you never intended. That is use number eleven, and you did not have to invent it.
Customers find uses. They always do. They combine your product with something else, they apply it to a problem you did not think of, they discover it works for their kid or their dog or their side business. Every one of those is a video, and if the customer is willing to be in it, it is a better video than anything you could film yourself.
Ask them. Feature them. Post it everywhere. A customer explaining a use in their own words, in their own space, carries more weight than a demo from the company, because nobody thinks the customer is being paid to say it. The uses multiply and the content comes from people who are not you.

This Applies To Services Too
If you sell a service instead of a product, the same logic holds. The cleaning company that people hire for move-outs also does post-construction and offices. The accountant known for tax season also does bookkeeping, payroll, and entity setup. The gym known for weight loss also runs strength programs, youth training, and rehab work.
Each of those is a separate audience with a separate search. The person looking for post-construction cleaning is not looking for a move-out cleaner and will never find you under that label. A thirty-second clip of the crew on a construction site, posted where that person is looking, is the only way they learn you do it.
Most service businesses market one service and quietly offer six. The other five are invisible until somebody films them.
Existing Customers Buy Again When They Learn The Other Nine
The obvious win is new customers. The less obvious one is repeat business.
The customer who bought for use one and then sees a clip about use four thinks, I did not know it did that. Now the product is worth more to them. They use it more, they recommend it more, and when the time comes to buy again, or buy the upgrade, or buy the second one, they do. You did not sell them anything new. You showed them what they already had.
That is the cheapest revenue there is. It comes from content, and it only happens if the content exists.
Stop Thinking Of It As One Product
The mental shift is simple. It is not a product with ten features. It is ten answers to ten different questions, and each question is being asked by a different person on a different platform right now.
When you post it that way, the product stops being one thing you occasionally mention and becomes a stream of specific, useful clips that never runs out. The person who needs use seven finds use seven. The person who needs use two finds use two. Nobody has to sit through the other nine to get to theirs.

Film The Nine You Skipped
Write down every use. Every single one, including the weird ones and the ones you assume are obvious. Then film each one, thirty seconds, phone on a tripod, no script. Show it doing the thing. Say what problem it solves.
Send those ten clips to whoever handles posting, and make sure they land on every platform, not just the one where your current customers are. The people who need uses two through ten have never heard of you. They are on the platforms you skip. Go find them.
Your product was always ten things. Start selling all of them.
